Great question! In our skincare, we do not use live cultures as it’s basically impossible for them to stay alive through the skincare manufacturing process & survive on the skin, so it is unlikely they can deliver the intended benefits as a result. The good news is, we don’t need live cultures to have a beneficial effect on the skin.
The probiotic extracts we use in our formulas are designed for safe use in topical skincare & have been clinically proven to restore skin’s natural radiance, improve hydration & smoothness, & calm the look of irritation. Plus, this means you don’t have to refrigerate your TULA skincare products! 🩵

We totally understand everyone's preference for scents & fragrance will vary, that's why we have a number of products that are formulated without fragrance, & products that are formulated without synthetic fragrance (meaning there is no synthetic fragrance added to the formula but there is a natural scent from the ingredients in the formula).
On each of our product pages, you'll find an FAQ section which will list if the product on that page contains fragrance or not so that you have all the info you need for what's best for your skin.

Firstly, congratulations from all of us at TULA! Many of our customers have enjoyed using TULA products through pregnancy & while they're nursing, but because everyone's experience can be quite different, visiting your doctor for a personal recommendation is the best course of action.
We always include the full list of ingredients on every product page, so you can consult your doctor & they can consider them for you. 🩵
You do not have to refrigerate any of our products. Our skincare products contain probiotic extracts which do not require refrigeration since they do not contain live cultures. Some customers have enjoyed storing our products in a fridge for an additional cooling & soothing boost.
We do suggest keeping your TULA products stored in cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to ensure the last use is as effective as the first. 🩵
Unfortunately, at this time, we do not offer wholesale or professional accounts & hope you continue to enjoy TULA as a customer. 🩵
TULA products are tested by third party, independent laboratories to ensure they are safe, effective, and potent. Once we’ve curated the perfect good-for-you ingredients & developed a formula we know you’ll love, we start our rigorous testing process.
Beyond dermatologist testing, all TULA products are evaluated for stability, microbiology, irritation (safe for all skin types), safety, toxicology, clinical claims assessment & more. Unless it passes with flying colors, it won’t make it to shelves.

As part of our testing & development, we ensure all formulas remain efficacious in various temperatures & weather conditions. This ensures that no matter what your package endures on its way to you, it arrives safe, sound & ready to use. Once you have your TULA products safely at home, we recommend storing them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
Each of our products will have a number followed by the letter ‘M’ printed on the component. This represents the number of months we suggest you use the product after opening.
For products with active ingredients, like sunscreens & acne-fighting products, we suggest using before the expiration date printed on the product for best results. 🩵

Referral (U.S. Only)
As a Refer-a-Friend (“Referral”) member (a “Referrer”), you are subject to our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy (both available on our website), as well as the following additional Terms & Conditions for TULA’s Refer-a-Friend program:
Qualified Referral. A Qualified Referral is defined as a purchase made at www.TULA.com by a person (a “Referred Customer”) who arrives at our website by clicking your Refer-a-Friend program link. You are limited to one (1) Qualified Referral for each Referred Customer; in other words, additional/repeat purchases made by a Referred Customer are not counted as additional Qualified Referrals. A Qualified Referral must be made by a new customer (someone who has not made a purchase on www.TULA.com before).
Referred Customer. The Referred Customer and the Referrer cannot be the same person (for example, a Referrer cannot become a Referred Customer by using a different email address)
Referral Rewards. For you to earn referral rewards as a Referrer, the Referred Customer must be a new customer and must complete a purchase greater than or equal to $30 in total value in the Referred Customer’s invoicing currency (USD), not including taxes, discounts, shipping, returns, chargebacks, fraudulent payments, and/or other third-party fees.
Reward Payments. Rewards are payable in increments of $20 in the Referred Customer’s invoicing currency (USD). In order to redeem your reward, you must complete a purchase greater than or equal to $30 in total value invoicing currency (USD), not including taxes, discounts, shipping, returns, chargebacks, fraudulent payments, and/or other third-party fees. The maximum Qualified Referrals earned per calendar year may be no more than twenty-five (25) Qualified Referrals ($500 invoicing currency (USD) in Rewards). As a Referrer, you are responsible for any and all tax liability resulting from Referral Rewards. In order to redeem an upgraded reward, you must complete a purchase greater than or equal to $50 in total value invoicing currency (USD), not including taxes, discounts, shipping, returns, chargebacks, fraudulent payments, and/or other third-party fees. Other restrictions may apply.
Eligibility. Eligibility is limited to individuals only. TULA’s Refer-a-Friend Program cannot be used by businesses for affiliate lead generation as determined in TULA’s sole discretion.
No Spam. You must comply with all up-to-date “spam” laws. For example, emails must be created and distributed in a personal manner and bulk email distribution is strongly discouraged. Any distribution of your referral link that could constitute unsolicited commercial email or “spam” under any applicable law or regulation is expressly prohibited and will be grounds for immediate termination of your account and exclusion from TULA’s Refer-a-Friend program.
Right to Close Accounts. TULA reserves the right to close the account(s) of any Referrer and/or Referred Customer and to request proper payment if the Referrer and/or Referred Customer attempts to use the TULA Refer-a-Friend program in a questionable manner or breaches any of these Terms & Conditions or is in violation of any applicable law, statute or governmental regulation.
Right to Cancel Program or Change Terms. TULA reserves the right to cancel the Refer-a-Friend Program or to change these Terms & Conditions at any time in its sole discretion. Any unclaimed referral rewards will be forfeited at that time.

Our subscription program is the most convenient way for you to get the products you want delivered to you on a regular schedule. We automatically send your favorite products based on your chosen frequency.
The subscription service is easy to use and customizable, so you can make changes online whenever you need. Just tell us how often you want your products at checkout, and we'll take it from there. As always, you'll receive 15% off every order plus free shipping!
You always have complete control over your orders and we send an email reminder before each order ships. You can change your delivery frequency, next order date, or quantity anytime by visiting the Subscriptions section in your TULA Account. Changes to orders can be made up until 24 hours before the next scheduled shipment date and you can cancel at any time. 🩵

Once you’ve joined, your subscriptions are easy to manage within your TULA account, you can change your next order date, skip an order, change your selected frequency, pause or cancel a TULA subscription. You'll also be able to swap products for upcoming orders, too.

Need to update your payment information? No problem! Simply login to your TULA account to view your subscriptions and select 'Edit' under the 'Billing' section. This will open up a new page where you'll be prompted to send an email to your inbox so that you can securely update your payment information.
When you get the email, click the 'Confirm Payment Information' button to enter your new payment information. Once you enter your new information select 'Update Card' & verify that your information saved successfully. This billing information will apply to all of your TULA subscription orders. 🩵
Returns & Exchanges
We stand behind our products & want you to love them as much as we do. That’s why we have a flexible & free returns policy. If for any reason you aren’t satisfied with your products, we will happily accept your return & issue a refund within 60 calendar days of the order date. No hard feelings. 🩵

Our seamless self-return process takes between 7-14 days, start to finish.
Returns take roughly 5 business days to travel to the return location, & 3-4 business days processing time.
Once your return has been processed, you will receive an email confirming a refund has been processed. Refunds typically take 2-3 business days to post back to your account.
